The one thing I said before driving to Blue Mountain for my birthday was “I’ll do anything as long as it’s not a hike”

Welllll we hiked. But it was downhill and I loved every bit of it!

If you’re interested in a mini-hike at Blue Mountain, just take the gondola to the top of the hill and choose the “Cascade” hike (you’ll find it on the map) - it’s downhill and you’d be waking along a stream 🌿

This one’s mine - it’s a tiny creek along a trail in Etobicoke. Imagine having such a beautiful spot in the middle of the city, barely a 5 min walk from the nearest parking. Toronto you’re full of surprises!

Weekend hike at Mono Cliffs Provincial Park, an hour’s drive from #NorthYork.

The drive through #Ontario countryside was so beautiful and the towns of Orangeville and Mono are so cute!

It was the only place we could visit without a reservation, so it’s ideal for spur of the moment plans.

The leaves haven’t returned to the trees yet, so visiting a couple weeks later might make the experience a lot more scenic.

Difficulty level: Zero. Felt like a walk in the park (quite literally).

Drove to Etobicoke Lakeshore last weekend for a picnic in the sun. Couldn’t believe how accessible the lake was; barely populated, located right next to a patch of bright green gardens and swans floating by (no joke) in close proximity.

There’s nooo spot in the city that’s as ideal for a sunset walk as this one. And in such a cozy neighbourhood too!
